A couple of days had been past, since i read that ET:Quakewars will not be realeased this year. They need more time to force balanced gameplay and so some internal beta tests.
At this time, the information is, that gamers will be able to buy ET:Quakewars and RTCW II early in 2007. With other words, they won´t finish them in 2006.
Although it´s really sad, we should all look forward to a great games in 2007. And Q-Con 2006 just takes place in a few weeks. HF GL
X-ray anti-cheat has today announced its support for ET and have recently added it to its game list. The software which is used in many other games has the backing of the UK's largest league, Enemy Down and has a very active development team.
The software is clientside and requires users to create an account and download the x-ray software. The software then forces screenshot uploads and scans your computer for cheat processes. On top of this the software has a very active support system in which the ET community is welcome and encouraged to participate in aiding them detect new cheats that have been released.
This comic is created by Shepherd, just one member of the community and hardcore-fan of W:ET. Idea to create this comic came from the famous proverb; Picture speaks more than thousand words. So, instead of talking I decided to express my feelings about things via pictures. And of course, I try to make things look as funny as possible, most important thing is to make people smile or even laugh hysterically.
EgaL made a pack of TeamSpeak Sounds in RtCW style. A must-have for every Wolfanstein player! This second version fixes a few bugs the first version had and as extra he added a second sondpack with the bani sounds.
The latest version of MAXBrowse is now available for download. For those who haven't tried MAXBrowse before, it is a server browser created with the aim to be as easy to use, and without adding unnecessary baggage. This version adds support for some Q3 engine games - Q3, ET, and Warsow, as well as the latest D3-engine game, ETQW.
There are also some requested feature additions, such as minimise to systray, improved accuracy of pings. For full details, check the changelog.
Note that the TV filter now works for those games which support TV servers (ETQW, ET, Warsow, Q3 and Q4), but that for Q3 and Warsow the TV's don't report to the master server, so you have to add the IPs in manually.
Because of some bugs in the previous version I had to make one final adjustment in this map. So now it's called UJE_temple_sniper2 , It still is the crossing version. There are made some adjustments with clipping and a lot of light adjustments Think the map is done now and no more changes are gonne be made.
TeamSpeak Overlay (TSO) is an Application designed to be use with TeamSpeak, that allows players to "see" who is speaking. With TSO, an addition to your games HUD allows you to see whos talking without having to switch out of the game. TSO works by overlaying a list of the current speakers into the games window, over the top of the game thats running. It does this by directly hooking the DirectX or OpenGL APIs. It then "reads" the Teamspeak Window, to obtain the current speakers. It then draws this on top of the running game.
This is a remake of Paintball Mod 2. Its might lighter than its predacesor yet it includes more than the original. It now includes Crystal Chams, that flow over the body like gel. Very nice effect and very visable from a distance improving your skill. Includes Gold Allied Dual Pistols and a gold knife. I didn't include gold pistols for axis maybe the next version. Eventually i would like to add actual paintball guns to this mod but thats further down the road. Enjoy!
