Version 1.733 of the PunkBuster Client for Enemy Territory has been released to the PB Master Servers for auto-update and to their website download page. This version addresses a bug in PB client version 1.731 that causes players running ET under Windows 95/98/ME to get kicked.

The To Do List:

1. The Cheaters:

To prevent the cheating scum from taking over the upper competitions, we need to build up a bigger and more active Cheatbuster crew. The first attempts were ok already but it is getting more and more inactive and noone really cares about doing the "big Bust". If you feel like helping the community with this PMME, immediately.
2. The Maps:
ET is getting boring with the all-time maps Supply and Braundorf, Radar... So it it time that all map-makers start again to make new competitive maps for the future. So the last LAN will not be CDC3.
3. The Mod:
A new mod would give us some time to change some important gameplay bugs and prevent cheaters from taking ET fully over. The cheating community would first need to code a new cheat, and if we got the Cheatbuster Crew running, everything will fit.
Conclusion:
If you guys do not want that ET dies in the next few months or probably already after the CDC3 then help me to build up a working project to get ET back to the "goo' ol' times".

It is time for some changes! It is up to YOU!
Idle in the channel and ask the ops for positions!

    Allied forces are attempting to destroy an axis dam to flood the military installation below.

    This is a conversion of Bramburg Dam (mp_dam) designed and released by SplashDamage for Return to Castle Wolfenstein. It is based on the corresponding map 'dam' which was part of RtCW 1.0 single player campaign. All credits go to the developers at SplashDamage who designed this great map for RtCW, so in no way you are allowed to make money with it. I left layout and gameplay widely untouched. This map conversion was built for fun only, so don’t expect much from it. I’m just a hobby mapper.

    Probably best played with a maximum of 6-8 players per team, as the map isn't very large and gameplay extends only to a limited part of it (most of the axis side of the dam isn't really involved). The map surely isn’t suitable for large public servers with 30+ players. Stopwatch-mode should be cool, having map concept and objectives layout in mind.

    A test server for this map is up and running: 134.130.18.217:27960

    Changes:

    • mapscript & several entities related to spawning reworked to fit ET needs.
    • timelimit raised by 5 min to 15 min.
    • some RtCW-only textures replaced by ET-textures
    • most RtCW-sounds replaced with comparable stock ET-sounds
    • most RtCW-models replaced with comparable stock ET-models
    • terrain re-textured using DotProduct2 shader + Alpha Fade system. Credits to Simon "Sock" O'Callaghan.

    The Axis are about to surrender to the invading Allies. Their only chance not to lose control of the last remaining rocket base is to neutralize it. Allies have to prevent Axis from taking over this strategical Factory Complex at all costs.

    Map Features:

    • 6 different spawn locations for Axis
    • 5 different spawn locations for Allies
    • Time Extensions upon objective completion. This avoid having a long lasting round and ends the round quickly if the Axis team can get past a specific objective
    • 1 Neutral command post
    • 6 MG42 gun nests
    • 6 dynamitable Axis objectives
    • A time bomb on the last map section. This has been highly inspired from the MLB Daybreak map. The layout in the last section of FG Warzone makes this objective much more interesting
    • 3 secret rooms. Note that they are in now way like the MLB secret rooms. You don access them the same way, they don give any specific bonuses and are located in map sections that aren strategic. They therefore only act as easter eggs
