Based on enormous server occupancy rate is the sl-site at the moment only constrained available! This problem is mirrored in large server scan intervalls, forged player rating and abnormal site invocations with the message "DB OPEN FAILED! TOO MANY CONNECTIONS!" We works on this problem and apologise for any inconvenience.

The first beta version of the Duke mod for Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is out. Everyone who liked to play Duke Nukem 3D shouldn't miss it. Thanks to Way2Evil for making this great mod - and don't forget to code some babes!!
Way2Evil also provided a test server where you can check it out: type "/connect way2evil.info:27961" (w/o the quotes) into the ET-console to connect. The required download size is about 40MB, but fast http-download is enabled. As an alternative you can also download the files directly from the official page.

From today on the server popularity is calculated differently. The new calculation scheme takes the server load and the server size into account. As one result large server won't be at the top all the time anymore.
The popularity is updated at 08:00 a.m. every day. You might need to get used to the new values, but we think the server ranking is more fair and realistic now.
The Splatterladder-Team wishes you a successful eSports-year 2006!
To answer questions about the ranking... we must admit, there has occured a bug during the change and relocation of our tiny database which caused in fact the appearance of the data, but not compulsory its up-to-date status. Due to this there is partially data wich has been updated at that specific time. The error should be eliminated tomorrow morning from the next ranking.
The other issue, IE-User not able to update their clan-data, will be resolved too.
Thank you for your understanding.
addendum:
4th of January: The clansettings are now usable as usual
it is ready today, the ET-part of Splatterladder moves on a new root server in the daytime. If this is completed request times and lags should be a thing of the past, thanks to the new HTML-Engine. Therefore the SL will be down for a couple of hours today. We apologize for this spontaneous action but we are looking for a suitable time already since 14 days. During Farcry and the forum nothing will change.
We keep you informed...
Updates: - 1:13pm MET: We have started with the DNS-updates. - 2:30pm MET: The ET page is switched off, we start with the transfer of the web page now. This can last for a couple of little whiles. - 5:40pm MET: The data have been integrated into the new Splatterladder firmware. On the other hand, if the integrity test is successful nothing speaks to open the system for you again. - 6:15pm MET: The farcry.splatterladder.com wasn't unintentional reachable by a error in DNS. We have this fixed. - 11:09pm MET: The whole Splatterladder is online now!
I founded this site a couple of years ago with some friends with the same burning desire for RTCW. At this time I had no idea of what this was going to become. I started to learn PHP and soon we had a working news page with comments, a poll and some other sections. We got a pretty cool design by Hipshot, which later was reworked to what it is today. The site developed and grew more and more. After some server craches and lots of lost data we got the site up in a real serverhall.
At some point I met celtiC who started to write news. Back then, I had no idea of what great and devoted person he was. Today, the whole scene got him to thank what this site has become.
Sadly, I lost the interest for the game about a year from the release, but I kept the site running since it became so much more than I ever could have imagined. I also had a great interest in programming which kept me going.
All great moments has an end. Now it's time for sweRTCW. I barely got any time left to work on this site. It also takes alot of administration since I'm running the server at home. celtiC has already given his statement as you all know. I find this is the time to close the doors here. I would like to thank everyone who have helped sweRTCW in anyway.
I will keep the site running a while until i figure out what to do with all movies.
Good things come to those who wait. At last we have fulfilled your desire of splatterladder signatures with your own personal statistics. Now splatterladder fans can bind different banner with the sl.Forum as well with other forums! We have opened a Signature FAQ in our forum. There you can find a list of available signatures and a "How-to".
Furthermore we have started a little "banner-contest". It means you can create a signature for splatterladder. Let your mind wander and send us your idea! For more information read this thread please.
In Addition many thanks to COOLover and Bur7on for their support!
