Maps/Mods
Set in the country manor of the board game Cluedo (Clue in the U.S.), there is no real scenario - this is played just for laughs as a break between "proper" maps. Each game lasts about 10 minutes. Axis spawn in the Ballroom (centre top of the map) and Allies in the Hall (centre bottom).

A flag then randomly spawns in one of the seven other rooms. The upper edge of the room's walls glow white when the flag is active inside.

The flag can be captured by either team, giving the white glow an inner blue (allies) or red (axis) core to show the current possessor. When the flag is held for a total of 90 seconds by a team it is secured and removed from the map. The white glow is removed and the inner core remains to show that the room has been fought over and which team secured it.

This process is repeated until one team has secured four flags and is victorious.

Players can move freely between the rooms and enter the cellar. The doors are glass lined so that players are aware of anyone camping the other side, which is legitimate and likely to be the case.

Each room can be entered or exited through its windows, and the four corner rooms have secret passages which link them. Players can also move around and over the building.

Each of the seven flag rooms has a trap which is activated by the lever in the corridor outside the room. Once a trap is activated it cannot be re-used for 30 seconds.

The traps make the interior of the room uncomfortable or downright dangerous for its occupants, which helps to shift players camping the flag. The player activating a trap is teleported to a location outside the room, so he can witness the carnage he has caused.

To make things even more lively, the players will find there are all sorts of places that engineers can plant mines to surprise the unwary...

The action is fast and frantic, with low respawn times to ensure all the players stay in the thick of it.

Recommended for teams of between 2 and 12 per team.

Surely you have already noticed the offline time of the sl.Forum. Due to hacker attacks on the sl.Forum within the last few days we were forced to update the forum software.

On the whole the new forum is going on so we are responsive again. In addition inform us about appearing bugs please. The old forum-skin isn't compatible, we will work on it in the near future there.

The sl.Team would like to thank the hackers which have granted us a lot of work and the update of the forum was already overdue too.

Update:
- Our forum is back with the newest version!
- we have many improvements in the forum software and Dutch and Spain as new forum languages!
- The forum-skin isn't completely adapted yet. We work on it.
- as at March 3rd before 8.00am. All users which have registered after that should register again (the data are lost in the wake of the hackers attack)
- Perhaps your default language setting are lost with the update too. Please simply select your language once more.

Maps/Mods
The entire action centres on the race to deliver 6 gold crates into your team's vaults. Engineers are not necessary: there are no dynamitable objectives and nothing to build.

This is a manic romp and not to be taken seriously :)

Gold Crates:
Grab each of your 6 gold crates one at a time and deliver them to the vault. Allied crates from the East cages must go into the West vault, and vice-versa. Similarly for the Axis crates in the North cages to the South vault and vice-versa. Arrows shown in team colours (Allies=blue Axis=red) guide the way for the current objective.

Flags:
There are four flag poles. They are NOT forward spawn points: instead they function like a Command Post. Each flag captured improves your team's Charge speed:

0 flags = no bonus
1 flag = small bonus
2 flags = better bonus, plus CovOp landmine warnings are transmitted
3 flags = good bonus
4 flags = great bonus

Stars:
Stars will drop to the ground from time to time. Grab them before they disappear to be granted power-ups and bonuses. Notable powerups are:

Expressway: This provides a launch pad from the spawn point to the opposite side of the map. Handy when the next objective is over there.
Sleigh pad: This provides a jump pad (located at the snowman) up to the flying sleigh. The pad operates only when the sleigh is overhead. When ridden, the sleigh will launch dual panzer strikes at the enemy base.

"As promised I'm now delighted to announce SGLac now supports 'Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory' and is available for your use as and when you wish to do so.

What is SGLac?

SGLac is the anti cheat developed and implemented by theSGL.com which we have used over the past three years (how we got through the first year without it amazes me!) to ensure a cheat free environment for our official matches. We made it available to clans to use on their own servers for CS1.6 and CSS (it supports a lot of other games as well) but until now have never made it freely available to an entire community to reap the benefit from.

SGLac is a multiple level client which checks local memory processes for cheats and reports the findings back to us. I am not going to go into detail about how it works for obvious reasons but rest assured it does its job. For the record SGLac DOES NOT SCAN HARD DRIVE FILES. We have no interest in what cheats you may have on your pc - just the ones you are using while running SGLac. Screenshots are also uploaded.

Whilst these work perfectly on XP we do experience the "black screenshot" bug on some vista platforms though as ever we are working to eliminate this problem. The screenshot is really "eye candy" and a reassurance that the client is doing it's job - the real cheat detection happens behind the scenes though we do catch the occasional muppet running a visually detected cheat now and then...

We do have a large cheat database already in place which we crossmatch all scans against but obviously there is no substitute for experience so if there are people willing to take a few minutes and post us some links to some of the more frequently used (or even more obscure) ET specific hacks that are in use that would be appreciated and will be cause for more protection against cheats.

What do you need to use SGLac?

Head over to theSGL.com and make yourself an account. You will need an account to be able to log into the client and use it. You can then download the client by going to the "anticheat" tab and clicking the link. Install , run and you're in business. (You may find nod32 and AVG AV suites do not like the look of SGLac , simply by the nature of what and how it does things it can look suspect to some AV programs, if anyone is worried about this - all i can do is point to our huge userbase who don't have any problem with it).

Finally what may be of note to you is that since ET is free to download and if someone is caught cheating they can simply get a new account/profile/username - is that SGLac can by by hardware (ie if you get caught and banned you will need a new PC to use SGLac again) so we really can kick the cheats right out the game for ever.

This is a mine town. They were drilling for diamonds and oil and stuff. They used mine carts to get to the other site and buldozers for the heavy work but... Again the war came to this peacefull place and now there's a lot of shooting going on. Again a pass map but not to easy.

A bobot is a robot (bot), a virtual player directed by a computer. Bots will never replace human players, but you can train with them or against them or even add them to your server.

Bobots are realistic bots. They try to copy the human behavior and the human navigation. Bobot really thinks. Like a human player, bobot can do stupid and good things. It is not necessary that the bots are too perfect. They should not behave like robots without defects.

The characteristics of Bobot:
  • Its navigation by network of neurons trained to avoid obstacles thanks to a genetic algorithm (Joc)
  • Intelligent decision taking (rules system, priorities calculation through fuzzy logic) (3ème Type).Bobot constantly has a dozen of decisions to take. Does it have to get fixed up, to look for some munitions, to get or give a pack, to answer back to an attack or reviver a teammate? Does it have to go to a tank rather than to its main goal ? It asses all the possibilities many times per second and it will take the most adequate decision according to the situation. If a bot gets hurt close to its target it will go towards it but if it is far from it and close to a surgery it will prefer getting medical care. If reviving a teammate it gets shot, it will leave the action in order to answer back and only then will go back to what it was doing if it is still alive. It knows how to pursue an enemy for a while and also protect their mate.
  • The complete tank, truck support. A bobot is able to escort the tanks and other vehicles, to get on a tank and use their machineguns. It is able to wait for their team mates rather than leave alone and risk being shot down.

Add Cvar g_SniperWar (if you want to play relaxed a sniper map).

By the beginning of March 1943 the Eighth Army, advancing westwards along the North African coast, had reached the Tunisian border and Axis found themselfs in an Allied two army pincer. They were outflanked, outmanned and outgunned. The British Eighth Army shattered the Axis defense on the Mareth Line in late March and First Army in central Tunisia launched their main offensive in mid April. The axis forces are regathering there forces in north Africa to Tunisia were they have ammo bunker and newly developed rocket. They have been given the order to launch the rocket on allies headquarters and hold the perimeter until reinforcements arrives. The allied forces has landed in Tunisia and are about to destroy this low guarded axis ammunition bunker and the rocket.

1943, Chartwell, England. Axis paratroops attack the home of Churchill to steal the D-Day plans. Axis win if they successfully steal and transmit the D-Day plans before the map timer expires. Axis initial spawn is at the the buildings in the grounds of the house. If they destroy the AA gun or the AA gun controls then the Axis spawn changes randomly for every Axis spawn, with the spawners arriving at any part of the map. Allies must repair both in order to prevent Axis paratroopers. This makes the Axis attack easier as they can attack from any direction. To enter the house Axis must destroy the Main door or either of the side doors. Axis must grab the key from the Dining Room and take it to the Safe in the Study. Either of the Study doors must be destroyed to get in (one needs dyna, one needs satchel). Once the Safe is opened, take the D-Day plans to the Command Post for victory. Axis Cov Ops can booby trap the entrances to the AA gun and AA gun controls, by standing nearby for a few seconds. Allied Cov Ops can defuse them in the same way. Booby traps show as faint transparent bars, and are set off if an allied soldier touches them.

Based on enormous server occupancy rate is the sl-site at the moment only constrained available! This problem is mirrored in large server scan intervalls, forged player rating and abnormal site invocations with the message "DB OPEN FAILED! TOO MANY CONNECTIONS!" We works on this problem and apologise for any inconvenience.
